I have always been fascinated by color.  As a young child, when my mother put me down for a nap, I would stare at the quilt squares of pink, turquoise, and yellow. Through the years, I experimented with embroidery, watercolors, acrylics, oils, stained glass, tissue paper collage, and weaving – all for the love of color and the results of putting color together. I’ve been working with pastels since the Spring of 2009.  Am currently working in pastel, oils, gouache, collage, and alcohol inks and have won the following awards:

Masterworks, April 2013, 2nd Place in Pastel Miniatures, Albuquerque

Masterworks, April 2014, Jan Keefer Award of Excellence in Miniatures, Albuquerque
